friendly and respectful demeanor makes

him a trustworthy partner in the barn.

Albert is a kind gentleman who enjoys teaching our students the dressage Para or Special Olympics. He is a friendly sir and is always ready for a cookie!

This big girl brings true meaning to the saying "gentle giant".  Luna is happy to lazily go with the flow until food is involved. She is always motivated for meal time!

Luna is a steady option for our larger riders and once we get a carriage her size, she will be great for driving!

Little Miss Greta is prepared to team up and help our students achieve their goals!

She is a good size for some of our small to mid-size riders, and is great for walk/trot lessons. She's calm and sweet-natured.

Freya is a well-rounded little lady prepared to try it all. She may test the boundaries here and there, but makes a steady partner.  You can tell her apart from our other Chestnut mares with her 'Freya-fringe' forelock!

She is a solid walk/trot/canter with a Western style background. She is great on the trails or in the arena.

Miss Abilene may have the best hair in the barn, but don't let her good looks fool ya' - she is a hard worker and can do it al!

Abi is comfortable going anywhere and doing just about anything on the property. She can walk/trot/canter and rack like a rockstar.

​

She is a sweet little girl with great ground manners and is best suited for our smaller riders.

L.B. loves to be dirty - it's the main duty of a gray horse after all. He does not love to be in a stall, however. Hear all that door-kicking in the barn? Yup. It's L.B. wanting food or wanting out!

L.B. is a retired cattle farm horse and enjoys his more leisurely pace here. He has been trained to stand for our mechanical lift for riders with mobility challenges, and is greater for walk/trot work.

This old girl is a favorite of our volunteers and riders! She's steady and sweet, and ready to please!

She's great for beginner and intermediate riders alike, and has lots of experience to share.

Millie is about a perfect as you can get for an all-around horse. She knows her job and is very trustworthy.

​

She has been a program favorite for a while, and is steady for beginner walk/trot/canter riders.

​

Millie is great a horse shows, on the trail, and in the arena. She is probably one of the few horses we have is NOT a fan of being groomed, but does love a treat now and then!

Poppy is small - but she is as strong as a plow horse! She is not known for speed (unless she sees a yummy patch of grass), but she is a tremendous carriage-driving horse. She has been a steady partner for our therapy program for kids over the years as well.

She is good in the arena, on the trails, and at horse shows, and we use her for walk/trot and carriage driving.

Monte is a super-sweet guy and just aims to please. He is very versatile and willing to try it all if it will make you happy. You can tell him apart from our other chestnut geldings by the bright star on his forehead.

He is a great all-around horse, handling walk/trot/canter work easily. He's also great at shows and does his best work with more experienced riders.

Her full name is "Reba's Country Star" and she IS a star for sure! A steady addition to our program, this ol' girl will teach you the ropes of ranch riding or most anything you'd like to learn.

Find her cute face with a broken blaze hanging out in the mare's pasture.

Reba is solid and trustworthy, and works walk/trot like a dream. She is also a lady with great ground manners and patience will all our riders.

Buckshot is very secure in who he is, easygoing and challenges our riders to be self-aware. Buckshot is great in the dressage arena but don’t underestimate him, he makes a good western cow pony too! 

Rizzo is a "been there done that" kinda guy. You'll note right away that he has heart on his forehead, and his show name is “My Best Friend”, which sums up much of his personality.  Rizzo is a big steady partner ready to carry his rider through! 

Frosty is Bert's best friend! He loves to go on long escape runs and feel the wind in his mane - so make sure you always lock the gates!

He is a little gentleman when we visit residential care facilities, and all our volunteers love to spend time grooming and exercising him.

Bert, like most small equines, thinks he's the largest horse here at TSTRC! He may not be big in stature, but he may just have one of the biggest hearts!

​

He, along with his pal, Frosty, is a huge hit on the residential care facility circuit, often donning a dapper cowboy hat and kerchief for the event.
